01 · How it began
A listening account first.
In 2025, Mikhail helped Derick set up stats.fm so he could explore his own listening history. The record preserved through Derick’s public profile later became the foundation of this archive.
This independent website was created in 2026. It organizes the preserved listening history for exploration. It does not try to turn music into a biography or assign meaning that the record itself cannot support.
02 · What survives
The preserved record
51,870 listening records survive in the event history used by this site, spanning from September 7, 2016 through the final reliable listening date of October 5, 2025, plus one separately flagged timestamp on November 1, 2025. The archive contains 11,561 track identities, 4,025 credited artist identities and 4,997 album identities.
This is a preserved listening history, not a claim that every listen from Derick’s life is present.
Time on the site
Dates and clock times are shown in Honolulu time so the archive uses one consistent calendar. That is a display convention, not evidence of where Derick was physically located.
A date with no record is a gap in the preserved history, not proof that no music was heard that day.
03 · How to read it
Where the record is uncertain
Some source timestamps are shared by more than one listening record, so the exact playback order inside those ties is unknown. A small number of artist and album names also remain unresolved; the site leaves those unknowns visible instead of guessing.
Different views inside stats.fm can show different lifetime totals. This archive uses the preserved event-by-event history and does not force separate source views into one number.
One unresolved timestamp
A November 1, 2025 timestamp remains flagged as an unresolved anomaly. It is kept visible and included in totals, but this site does not present it as verified listening by Derick.
More broadly, listening data is treated as listening data: it is not used to infer emotion, location, motive or events that are not in the record.
Privacy
This archive has no built-in analytics, cookies or user accounts, and private account or source identifiers are not published. Short music previews on the Home page contact Apple or Spotify only after you press play. External links and previews then follow those services’ own policies.
